TIMBERLAKE WOMEN’S CLUB 2009/2010
Welcome – old members, new members and potential members.
Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 16th, 7 pm at the home of Carol Labedz, 8525 Clarendon Hills Road. Membership dues of $20 for the year will be collected along with any updated information. Pictures will be taken for our directory and you can help us plan the open spots in our meeting schedule. Tickets will also be available for our next meeting:
Friday, October 23rd, 6pm @ Maywood Park.
Bring your family, invite your neighbors (potential member?), workmates or friends you’ve been meaning to get together with. $25.00 per person covers a "Night at the Races". Admission, Program, Valet parking and best of all: A Grand Gourmet Buffet. Will you be lucky and pick the winning horse? You’ll have fun even if you just watch the beautiful horses run and enjoy the food and company. Tickets will be available at our September meeting or up to a week before the event.

Plans still in progress. Dinner @ Aodake Sushi & Steak House? Watching your food being prepared is half of the fun.
Or would you be interested in a "Gold Party"? Our friends @ Bella Cosa Jewelers would run this program. If you have old, broken or unwanted gold, you could go home with cash. We would need a hostess for this event.
There are also several theatre possibilities either for November or later in the year. I’ll bring details to the September meeting and welcome your suggestions for other events also.
December – which date is best?
Wednesday, December 9th or Wednesday December 16th
Tentatively scheduled is a wine tasting @ Downers Grove Wine Shop (75th & Lemont) $10 per person covers a tasting of at least 5 wines along with light appetizers.

The LCR/Bunco game night has been very popular for the past few years. Our hostess is Sharon Cote 8600 Lorraine Drive. Bring your quarters – even if you’ve never played before it’s easy to learn.
March, 2010 – date to be advised
Our hostess is Linda Painter (10S221 Hampshire Lane) for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Party. We will need you to RSVP for this event. No cost to members – small fee for guests. Details will follow.
February and April dates are still being planned and the annual Installation Dinner is scheduled for May 19, 2010
